Clean Energy Policy, Strategy, and Implementation
Services we offer
Policy
Trying to understand and engage with how energy decisions are structured and executed across the United States is difficult and byzantine. Wealthy and powerful corporations have large teams to track these developments and formulate strategies as new laws and regulations unfold. This can be very challenging for even larger organizations to contend with. Arda Advisors can help level the playing field.
Industry Insights
The energy industry can be fast moving and fast changing. Almost every state offers different incentives with different budgets for different technologies. Federal ITC tax credits and banking trends also heavily impact what projects can move forward and what developments could stall. Our affiliates have collectively worked in the industry for decades across state and federal agencies, solar contractors, and financial firms. We can help you understand both potential opportunities and pitfalls that should be avoided.
Community Engagement
Simply stated, many projects fail to get off the ground because they did not engage the community and necessary stakeholders. Many organizations also fail to accept feedback or communicate in a way that communities find meaningful. We can help you develop an effective community engagement strategy and assist in helping your organization formulate a plan to become a trusted partner.
Our Perspective
In many languages across the globe the word “Arda" has ancient roots and means the “world we live in”, “the realm of nature”, or “special elements” vital to human success. This concept acknowledges that many different factors must be considered when striving to create a world with more abundance and human prosperity. Regrettably, these considerations often become siloed or adversarial as people or organizations try to achieve singular objectives.
This doesn’t have to be the case.
The strides we’ve taken in clean energy mean we no longer have to ignore certain impacts or establish sacrifice zones to generate and share electricity for the benefit of all. Clean energy programs and projects can respect the environment, excite communities, create jobs, and help organizations flourish.
But the correct steps and approach must be taken from the beginning. Projects should be right-sized and collaborative with communities and energy providers. The benefits must be tangible, affordable, and sensical. Clean energy entrepreneurs also need to understand the jurisdictions they are moving through, and how the decisions they make today will influence the attitudes of people and lawmakers tomorrow.
It is when all these factors are considered and executed together that we arrive at the best clean energy outcomes, and create the “Arda” we all strive to preserve and improve.
